Abstract

With the rapid development of technology at this point, many things that were previously done manually is possible replaced with an automated way to simplify and save in the use of time. No exception in terms of walking aids for the disabled leg. So dirancanglah tools that facilitate the activities for the disabled that is, the electric wheelchair. The development of today's technology it is possible to to Automate the use of a wheelchair that had been considered too cumbersome by manual karenan driven with the help of human encouragement. So dirancanglah electric wheelchair movement is controlled directly by the user. Control is possible with the electric chair, combining hardware and software, using ATmega32 microcontroller as the main controller, and is programmed with the BASCOM-AVR language. This tool has a motor drive which is fully controlled by a microcontroller and controlled directly by the user via push button.
